Suited ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("App") and related services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:

  • Profile Information: Name and profile information you choose to provide
  • Body Measurements: Height, weight, chest, waist, inseam, neck, sleeve, shoulder measurements, and preferred fit preferences
  • Style Preferences: Style preferences, favorite occasions, and fashion preferences
  • Wardrobe Information: Photos and descriptions of clothing items you add to your closet
  • Photos: Images of clothing items, outfits, or yourself that you upload for style analysis
  • Subscription Information: Purchase status provided by the Apple App Store (we do not receive or store your payment card information)

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

When you use our App, we automatically collect certain information, including:

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, an anonymous app installation identifier, and technical diagnostics
  • Service Request Data: The requested AI or weather operation, an anonymous installation identifier, access time, and IP address used for routing, rate limiting, and abuse prevention
  • Diagnostic Data: App crashes, error context, device type, operating system, and performance data
  • Location Data: Precise latitude and longitude (if you grant permission) sent to provide a local weather forecast and cached on your device

1.3 Third-Party Information

We may receive information from third-party services, including:

  • App Store: Subscription status and purchase information from the Apple App Store
  • Subscription Service: Entitlement and purchase status from RevenueCat
  • Crash Reporting: Technical diagnostics from Sentry, with default personal-information collection and session replay disabled

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • Process your style check requests and provide AI-powered recommendations
  • Generate personalized size recommendations based on your measurements
  • Build and suggest outfits based on your wardrobe and preferences
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Send you service-related communications, updates, and support
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use

3. AI and Third-Party Services

3.1 AI Processing

We use trusted AI providers, including OpenAI and Anthropic, to analyze your photos and provide style recommendations. When you upload photos, they are:

  • Compressed and optimized before transmission
  • Sent to secure third-party AI APIs for analysis
  • Processed according to the applicable provider privacy policies and data handling practices
  • Not used to train AI models without your explicit consent
  • Subject to the providers' commercial API retention terms; standard OpenAI and Anthropic API processing may retain inputs and outputs for up to 30 days, with limited legal, safety, or account-specific exceptions

3.2 Affiliate Links

We may provide affiliate links to retailers (Amazon, Nordstrom, J.Crew, Bonobos, etc.). Clicking these links may result in cookies being set by these third parties. We do not control these third-party cookies or tracking technologies.

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 Data Storage

Your data is stored:

  • Locally: Profile information, measurements, wardrobe metadata, preferences, and history are stored on your device
  • Photos: Wardrobe photos remain on your device unless you choose an AI feature that sends a photo to a trusted provider for analysis
  • Suited Servers: Suited does not permanently store uploaded photos on Suited servers

4.2 Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encrypted network connections for data sent to service providers
  • Restricted access to production service credentials
  • Software updates and dependency security reviews

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our App, including hosting, weather, crash reporting, and subscription management
  • AI Services: With trusted AI providers for processing (as described in Section 3.1)
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or government regulation
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to users)
  • With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share your information

6. Your Rights and Choices

6.1 Access and Correction

You can access and update locally stored information directly in the App. You can:

  • View and edit your profile information
  • Update your measurements and preferences
  • Manage your wardrobe items
  • View and delete your check history

6.2 Data Deletion

Suited does not currently require or create a user account. You can remove data by:

  • Deleting wardrobe items and clearing history in the App
  • Uninstalling the App to remove its remaining local data
  • Contacting us at privacy@gaugestyle.app with questions about data handled by our service providers

6.3 Opt-Out Options

You can:

  • Disable location services in your device settings
  • Disable push notifications in your device settings
  • Cancel your subscription through Apple App Store settings

7. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete such information promptly.

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. By using our App, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.

9. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  • Right to Know: Request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, and disclose
  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information
